Owned by James Beard Award Semifinalist Chef Iliana de la Vega and her husband Ernesto Torrealba, El Naranjo first opened its doors in 2012 and has been serving the community traditional Oaxacan cuisine ever since.

Resplendent Hospitality’s PR and social media campaign works to maintain El Naranjo’s standing as one of Austin’s top restaurants while showcasing both the talent of the team and the story behind the restaurant. We’ve secured features that highlight Chef de la Vega’s dedication to her craft, further establishing El Naranjo as not only one of the best restaurants in Austin but one of the best restaurants in all of Texas.

Through our PR and social media efforts, we also announced El Naranjo’s transition from its location on Rainey Street to its new home on South Lamar with a persistent and informative social media strategy. Additionally, we showcased El Naranjo’s space and menu with bright and detailed photography, informative captions, and to-the-point verbiage that funneled our readers’ focus to the simple fact that Chef Iliana makes delicious, traditional Oaxacan food right here in Austin, Texas.
