Hailing from New York, Lichtenberger was a member of the second graduating class of the French Culinary Institute and went on to work at a host of French restaurants in the big city. While he is able to effortlessly execute the classic French cuisine at Péché, he can also cook up some fine island-inspired fare at sister restaurant next door, Isla. During his tenure at Austin’s Trattoria Lisina, Lichtenberger received many awards, including his personal honor from Best Chefs in America, the title of “Best Chef” in 2013.
