Dallas, TX, native Todd Duplechan opened Lenoir in 2012 in Austin, alongside his wife and partner, Jessica Maher, where the focus is on hot weather food, using locally sourced ingredients from Central Texas. Lenoir was one of Bon Appetit’s “Top 50 Best New Restaurants” in 2012, and was awarded #1 Restaurant in 2014 by the Austin American Statesman’s critic, Matt Odam. In August 2014, the couple opened Métier Cook’s Supply with the goal to curate a shop that bridges the gap between the professional chef and the at home cook.

• Expert on cast iron, taking worn down pots and pans and refurbishing them to nearly new
