Sometimes the best things to do in Austin happen to be just outside of the city. Consequently, one of the said “things to do” this week is happening in Round Rock.

If you haven’t already checked out Jack Gilmore’s newest culinary knockout, Salt Traders Coastal Cooking, you now have even more of a reason. This week, they are teaming up with Texas wine revolutionaries, William Chris Vineyards, for a Texas wine dinner!

Join the Salt Traders and William Chris team for a very special meal, featuring five courses and six wines (that extra wine is crucial). The menu and pairings are created by Chefs Jack Gilmore, Chris Ten Eyck and Tom Rummel, and Salt Traders Coast Cooking’s beverage director, David Toby.

BAKE SALE AT BARLEY SWINE

How Much: Prices vary

We’ll never say no to pastries. And when it comes to a bake sale from Odd Duck and Barley Swine’s master pastry chef, Susana Querejazu, we are 110% in.

In addition to Susana’s delicious fresh baked goods and treats, guests can also purchase coffee.  That extra caffeine buzz will give you the energy you need to get through that line because there will definitely be one! Pro tip: We suggest you get there early to make sure you snag some weekend treats.

Proceeds from the bake sale will benefit the Central Texas Food Bank.
