If there was any night this year that called for a little liquid assistance, its November 8 – a.k.a. Election Day 2016.

Whether you are #withher or trying to make American great again we all deserve a drink while we watch as the future of the fate of our country is decided.

Lucky for us Austinites, drink.well. is screening the election and, of course, serving up their delicious cocktails and grub. So head on up to North Loop tonight to catch a buzz while you watch the action.

Oh, and if you haven’t already – for the love of God, VOTE!

November 13: Bitchin’ Babes Brunch

Come join your sisters-in-arms this weekend at Peached Social House for a celebration collaboration with some of Austin’s finest female chefs and artisans at the Bitchin’ Babes Brunch this Sunday!

Ladies in attendance can expect some preliminary cocktails and passed apps before sitting down to a delicious family-style brunch from five fabulous, female culinary talents including Odd Duck and Barley Swine’s Susana Querejazu and The Peached Tortilla’s Bethany DiBaggio.

Don’t forget to check out the booths from some of Austin’s finest female artisans, including Tattoos&Loveletters and Daisy Natives.

November 13: D0512/Karbach Fire on the Mountain Chili Showdown

Eating a big bowl of chili is one of our favorite things to do in Austin.

When: Sunday, November 13 at 5 p.m.

It’s finally getting a little cooler down here. One of our favorite things to do in Austin during these months is enjoy a big bowl of Texas chili.

Join James Cole of Jacoby’s Restaurant & Mercantile, Charles Zhuo of Barley Swine, Rojo Lujano of Jack Allen’s Kitchen and two other prominent Austin chefs as they compete in the chili cookoff of the year!

In addition to a traditional red chili, each chef will create a chili of their choosing. Guests can expect beer from Karbach Brewing, beverages, live music and, of course, lots of chili goodness.
